“94% of Chinese restaurants have halted transactions…Even after the shutdown ends, restaurants will likely struggle to return to normal…City residents, worried about a disappearing Chinatown, have organized fundraisers including Dumplings Against Hate.”

Chinatowns need your love to survive!
New York’s Nine Chinatowns are hanging by a thread. Many restaurants have already closed due to coronavirus: 98% of Manhattan’s Chinatown alone are small businesses, and some have begun to pay their employees out of their own pocket to survive.
Chinatowns have always been there for you. When you needed a cheap and delicious meal, you got wonton noodle soup. When you were drunk at 3am and desperately needed dumplings, that restaurant was always open. And when you needed a brunch place for nine friends, you knew that dimsum place had it covered.
Now, will you show up for NYC’s Chinatowns? Support them by donating here. All money will go to AAFE’s Emergency Small Business Relief Fund.
